In this regard NWS is rather like YourTube on steroids, since you may publish and produce not just one form of media, but all forms.

Music and art, photography is reviewed by our editorial staff, and if your work is proficient, then that will be the proof used to provide the access permission for self publishing without peer/approval process review.

As a member Author you may always go back to your submission (when logged in) and edit its content. Look for the edit icon - It will be next to your title, click on it to launch your editor. You are allowed to upload associated images.

If your membership is Publisher then you are totally in control of your works and can add to that the choice to publish to a selected Access level,  place it into the homepage, Alias your name, and time the publishing life of the item.

For Paid Membership levels,  other paid Members or Industry accounts will be able to view the full documents or works, Your Intro/Synopsis is the only Public Access content. Please contact us if you have e-publishable works for download / sale.



THE MAGAZINE
As Promised this year we launch a virtual online paperless page turning magazine. The difference here is that it will be advertizer supported. Google/inktomi/yahoo now index NWS content daily with our new Shortened URL system. Basically now you just enter your stuff and gain a footprint globally in a couple of days. Use a clever headline with unique words, and your item will stand out.

Our embedded music flash player is 100% unrippable Nobody can steal your file form this player. Submit your music and we will put it into rotation of the top 6 every couple of weeks. Its on every page of the site. The new player with link to site and buy options is coming in mid September.

Member Gallery simple - you may create and upload your own jpgs, caption and setup your own Albums, and that is Free - request a special login to administer your own gallery.

Videos can be in your article. Put there by you. Youtube & Google video players are insertion automated, you do not use the problem-ridden EMBED tag. copy the Example:

youtube:url  or googlevideo:url in brackets is all it takes, just imitate what you see below.  Be SURE to place the video tag shown below in the 2nd window called Main Text - else it will break if you are featured on the homepage. thats all - NWS handles the rest.

Using the audio ( surrounded by braces ) tag.. just number your podcast e.g. podcast-rant1.mp3 etc... of the form podcast-section.mp3 - all else is done by the system.

Great videos are in our features gallery using our own 400kbps FLV service and bandwidth, and those are added by special arrangements, use the contact form to ask where to upload your video and we will do the FLV conversion for you to assure a better level of video quality.

Articles are always available in PDF converted format found in the upper right of every page.

Songwriters and Poets/lyric/concept people will enjoy this site as an inside track to the industry that is usually loaded with hype, but dont take our word for it, see this interview: Al Schmitt on Indie Music / CSN Producer Project 

 Movie/TV Scripts and treatments for review by production people are handled in a protected area, since that intellectual property requires your submission to be eyes-only to a select audience. The major benefit here is that industry people will see it and have an NDA with us that encompases the first-look work review. If an Industry Production house or media buyer chooses to purchase a HOLD on your work, then we assist in brokering your project at that initial stage. From there of course its all up to you, but this is a kickstart not often offered in the business.
