by Jennifer Mckeever the wind is a rush on my breast how i love this magic you feel not see my heart is pounding with the waves of the sea just close your eyes and believe soon you will see the captured dream open your eyes it is real the green of the grass and trees alas is deepening still as my eyes see new and clear and true the color is moving through the misty dew the sheer face of the cliff rises up as i step onto the open sea the whitewash splashes up and fills my cup and the salt leaves patterns of dreams the dreams of the day lines up with the sunrays piercing my state of divine the dream of the night is sheer shine of moonlight giving blessings of grace of pure sight soon you will see the captured dream open your eyes it is real the green of the grass and trees alas is deepening still as my eyes still see clear and true the colors are moving through the misty dew |
