I find it just amazing the parliamentary tricks that the Washington crowd can bring to bear in order to keep from answering questions.

The flap du jour is over former congressman Eric Massa’s conduct concerning charges of sexual harassment of male staffers.

It would appear that Pelosi and Hoyer knew about these allegations way back last October, which of course they denied.

The question now becomes what did they know, and when did they know it? They have managed to block GOP efforts to make them come clean (for the moment), so let us leave this aside for now and move on.

Earlier this week Pelosi (Der alte machashaifeh), Yiddish for the old witch, tried to defend the healthcare bill based on the assumption that it would promote a “healthier America” where “preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for”.

Most analysts agree that expanding “preventive care” will do nothing to bring down health care costs (the supposed purpose of the legislation); in point of fact, it will do just the opposite.

You can’t add 30 million more people to the pot without the price going up.

Pelosi was quoted as saying, “you’ve heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other—But we have to pass this bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of controversy (no fooling, she actually said that).

She is not the only high ranking member of the House to admit that they don’t have any inkling of what is in this monstrosity, and, they don’t give a damn.

Steny Hoyer, the house majority leader was quoted last summer as saying, “If every member pledged to not vote for it if they hadn’t read it in its entirety, I think we would have very few votes.”

John Conyers ( Dem- Mich) was quoted as saying, “What good is reading the bill if it’s two thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?” This guy is the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and is himself a lawyer.

Incidentally his wife was just sentenced to prison for corruption.

If this isn’t enough to wake people up to what kind of morons we have running the country, I don’t know what is.

Medicare is broke

Amtrak is broke

Medicaid is broke

Postal Service is broke

Financial Service Industry is upside down

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are in over their head (mismanagement), and now these clowns (who couldn’t find their collective butts with both hands and a map) want to take over 1/6 of our whole economy?

Never fear these jackasses are good at one thing, VOTING THEIR OWN PAY RAISES, while we don’t even get a COLA for our social security.

These people all need to roll up their gear and hit the bricks.

We need a fresh deck, and term limits too, NOW!

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
