Ben Feller, an Associated Press writer, wrote: President Obama wants a Supreme Court nominee who is not ....

.... only schooled in the law, but passionate about how it affects peoples lives, a SCHOLAR WILLING TO DECIDE A CASE FROM THE HEART WHEN THE CONSTITUTIONAL ANSWER IS ELUSIVE.

Excuse me sir but that sounds an awful lot like LEGISLATING FROM THE BENCH (making up law as you go along). I was under the impression that Making laws was within the purview of LEGISLATORS not JUDGES!

In case no one has bothered to tell you, the job of a justice is not to make up law, but to interpret the law according to The CONSTITUTION, THE CONSTITUTION, THE CONSTITUTION!!!

Recently "THE ANOINTED ONE" was quoted as saying:

"I view that quality of empathy, of understanding and identifying with people's hopes and struggles, as an essential ingredient for arriving at just decisions and outcomes". WRONG!!!!!

There is a reason why justice wears a blindfold you twit, did they not teach you that at Harvard, or were you absent that day?

When he voted against Chief Justice John Roberts in 2005, he was quoted as saying:

"He is plenty qualified to sit on the high court, but adherence to precedent and rules of interpretation only go so far, in the toughest cases, the critical ingredient is what is in the Judge's heart".  WRONG!!!!

Remember the BLINDFOLD!!  (JUSTICE IS BLIND)

Maybe in the book of "THE ANOINTED ONE" there comes a time when it is permissable to wing it (make it up as you go along).

Marcia Greenberger, co-president of the National Women's Law Center, was quoted as saying:

"His stellar legal credentials, understanding of the law, and being familiar with the process, that is part of the strength he brings to governing".

My question is when is this bird going to stop campaigning, and start GOVERNING?

Obama may get the chance to nominate two justices during his term, (hopefully there won't be a second term, we can't afford him), not only is Souter retiring, but Ginsburg is 76 years old and has just had cancer surgery, and Justice Stevens is 89 years old. (you do the math).

The White House Counsel's office will no doubt play a large role in gathering the legal opinions of the candidates as well as doing the background checks, but if past vetting performance is any indicator (Daschel, Richardson, Geitner if that's how he spells it), I don't put much faith in this crowd, it is like they just throw something at the wall and see if it sticks, or wait to see if anyone raises any objections or comes up with any dirt.

These clowns are giving away Our & Your store!

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!
